Day 90 - Daily Artwork

Shockingly, today I did something really different, and I found it difficult, but a good challenge.

I painted a portrait! I haven't painted a portrait for around 5 years (whenever GCSE art happened). So tonight's piece was a big change from my usual watercolour landscapes!

I spent around 3 hours on this, which I think was a bit longer than I should have... My shoulders hurt now!

Overall, I'm really happy with this! I would change a few things next time, making sure I get the proportions right at the beginning would save some time for me, and make life a bit easier! However, considering I just winged the portrait, not really planning it out, I'm happy!

Certainly feel challenged!
