Today's piece took ages!
Making a short series of these house paintings... A series of isolated buildings! (Sounded better in my head)
Today I decided to push myself to use colour and perspective that I would not normally do. Yellow is a colour that intimidates me a little, I find it difficult to paint with, and bold, yet it's one of my favourite colours! Thus, today yellow was my focus colour. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and, oh, I did.
I really focused on getting the perspective and distance through the flowers - and I really like how it turned out!
