Day 227 - Daily Artwork

Yay! Finally caught up to today's piece! I won't let myself get backed up again in terms of daily piece posts!

It was raining very heavily when I sat down to paint, and I felt inspired to play around with very wet watercolour. I grabbed Indanthrene blue, and dabbled it through the sky. I've seen this technique used on Youtube and I enjoyed implementing it in today's piece.

This blue is also granulating, and separates to show a deep black pigment. I thought this really added to the dappled texture.
