Day 222 - Daily Artwork

Found some black card in the cupboard under the stairs, and decided it needed to be utilised! It wasn't very thick, so certainly didn't like paint when I tested it out, it's very thin and not absorbent at all.

So I made it a challenge to paint a piece in white gouache over this paper, the idea being the less paint I use the better. I found this challenging, and a great way to shift my perspective on painting. Simplifying things down is a good challenge for me.
