Day 186 - Daily Artwork

Day 2 of my Scottish wanderlust adventure!

Today we're in the Highlands, specifically Glencoe, and I painted this lovely little house amongst the heather!

I don't often paint with an entirely earthy toned pallette, so this was a really nice push of my skills and eye. Absolutely loved painting this house, and enjoyed every second of today's piece.

The Scottish houses and bothies I saw on my family trip last year were one of my inspirations behind my isolated houses series, so I enjoyed returning to that theme!
