Day 121 - Daily Artwork

Trying new stuff this weekend!

I struggle to use soft pastels, despite my mom buying me a lovely set when I was 14, it has not been used as much as it deserves to be. So I grabbed it tonight, and painted a waterlilly pond scene!

It was quite messy, and I had to wash my hand several times (and vacuum the table after), but I'm really pleased with the results!

I did use a white gel pen to add some details, as once I put the fixative spray over it the white pastel went transparent.
